1) Make sure your antivirus and internet are completely turned off.
2) Install the software. Do not run it after installation. Make sure your internet is still turned off.
3) Go to the Services section (accessible by typing 'Services' in the start menu). Stop the HoudiniLicenseServer service.
4) Go to the KeyGen folder and move the sesinetd.exe file to the following address and replace it:
C: / Windows / System32
5) Restart the HoudiniLicenseServer service.
6) Run the License Administrator software. In the Server Information section, there are two important phrases. Write down and copy the values next to License Server host and License Server code.
7) Run the keygen.exe file in the KeyGen folder (known as houdini18_kgn.exe in version 18). Enter the two values you obtained in step 6 into the corresponding boxes, namely Server Name and Server Code.
8) Click on the License button at the bottom of the keygen window. You will be given a large number of licenses.
9) Each line of these licenses is for a part of the software. Now, go back to the License Administrator and go to the File -> Manually Enter Keys section. You will see 5 empty boxes in front of you. Copy the lines from the keygen file that generated the licenses, line by line, into these 5 boxes. Make sure the first line in these boxes is the SERVER information, i.e., the first line of the keygen must be copied into the first box.
Fill in the other boxes with the other lines of Keygen. When the 5 boxes are filled, you can click Accept to confirm and activate them. Then, enter the other licenses available in Keygen by running Manually Enter Keys again.
10) Run the software using the Houdini FX executable file. Do not run it through other files, as you will encounter problems.
